In this competitive era, the chance to get a job
becomes harder and difficult. Sometimes, you are qualified enough to get the
job but why you still fail to get such job? Have you think about it for a
minute? The reason that create this situation is mostly due to you are not have
enough prepare and perform well during the Job Interview. Your employer will
never understand who you are except through the interviewing with you. If you
can form a good impression during the interview, you will mostly have a great
chance to get such job.
So, there are some tips for you when attending to
job interview. Hope these tips can be helpful for you guys.
Dress with Appropriate:
First impression always plays an important role when
you are attending a job interview. The interviewer will make their first
judgment on you according to your appearance and attires. Thus, this is crucial
for you to always dress appropriately regardless gender and age.
There are some examples of good and poor attire for
male and female when attending a Job Interview:
Good
attire for Male:
① A tie in a simple pattern that matches the colors of your suit. ② Button down dress shirt ③ Polished dress shoes in a color ④ No earrings ! If you normally wear one, take it out. ⑤ Get a haircut. Short hair always fares best. ⑥ Clean trimmed fingernails. ⑦ Light briefcase or portfolio case ⑧ Minimal cologne Good attire for Female
① A neutral colored suit in navy or another dark color with a skirt
② Skirt length should be a little below the knee and never shorter than above the knee ③ Blouses should be cotton or silk (white or light pastel color) ④ Basic pumps with 1"to 2" heel. ⑤ Simple Accessories. No visible body piercing (nose rings or eyebrow rings) ⑥ Make-up should be minimal and in conservative tones. ⑦ Minimal cologne or perfume ⑧ Light briefcase or portfolio case
Always remember the do and don’t of the attire when attending a job interview. An
appropriate dressing will always enhance your chance to get job because you are
already form a good impression to your interviewers.

There are also some important hints that you should be take note when attending a job
interview.
1. Arrive around 10-15 minutes early to the job interview destination.
- you can have enough time to calm down yourself and also organize your thought for the interview later.
- it also shows that you are respect to the interview and also to the company.
2. DO NOT eat chewing gum or candy when you have a talk with the interviewer. - It will show that you are disrespect to them and also unprofessional. 3. SILENCE or SWITCH OFF your phone when you are in an interview. - It will cause disruption if you are answering the call or reply message. - Show the interviewer that you are not so interested in getting job. 4. AVOID of using your own slang when answering a question -It may cause confusion and misunderstanding on the interviewer about what you are talking about. 5. DO NOT have drink when the job interview is carry out. -It may create distraction and may causes you miss an important question from the interviewer. - May cause the situation worse when you accidentally spilling the drink on the table or even on the interviewer. 6. Get fully prepared for the job interview - Rehearsal possible questions with your family and friends. - ' Google' some sample question and go over it before the interview. 7. DON'T FORGET the necessary documents, always have your - I.D card - birth certificate - school transcripts - other license or certifications
Even though these things seen like so unimportant,
but you should always alert of it. This is because most of the interviewers may
make judgement on you based on these criteria. Thus, try to avoid all these
common mistakes and always get yourself fully prepared for the job interview.
During and after the interviewing process
Now you have all the proper attire, you are prepared with all your notes and you have all the necessary documents it is time for the main event; the interview. During the interviewing process

Remain calm and extend your hand to the
potential employers for a firm handshake.
v Be
sure to sit calmly and hold your posture when the interviewer asks you to take
a seat.
v Speak
clearly and keep good eye contact.
v Pay fully attention in the job interview and
listen
carefully about the question of the interviewer.
v Don't
be afraid to ask questions during the interview, lets the interviewer know all
about your experience and you are very interested in the position.
v BUT
hold off on asking any questions about salary or any job benefits unless you
have been offered the job.

Don’t ever talk negatively about your
past employer because no one want to hire a gossip employee.
After
the interview

the potential employer a thank you card or e-mail.

Express to the employer that you are
very grateful for the opportunity to apply for the position and you are still
interested.

You can make a follow up call if you
haven’t heard anything back after a few days have passed. Let them know you are
still interest in the phone call.
Lastly, don’t forget the post-interview
activities are just as important as pre-interview because every step in getting
the job is crucial. You should never ever give up because finding a job could take
a lot of works.
